Cognitive and Federated Digital Twins

There has been a recent explosion of interest in digital twins, namely data driven virtual replicas that can provide insights about a physical system and support decision making. This project endeavours to investigate and develop architectures for Cognitive Digital Twins, namely twins of intelligent systems that can exhibit a high level of intelligence. The project:
- Develops a reference architecture and a system implementation of Intelligent Digital Twins for Intelligent Systems
- Investigates the concept of Federated
Digital Twins and explores architectures and
cooperation algorithms
